Dunkin’ was launching a new breakfast sandwich deal, two sandwiches for a low price, which is a pretty great duo. Some would say the best, so naturally we asked ourselves what other duos would be envious of two sandwiches.
State Farm helps cover your home and car when something goes wrong. And when you’re an NBA star like Chris Paul, with friends like James Harden the things that go wrong are completely different than things that go wrong for you and me. These spots took an episodic look at the tribulations of Chris Paul and James Harden and their trusty State Farm insurance agent throughout the NBA season. More weirdness to come.

To kick off Bud Lights new campaign "Famous Among Friends" at the Super Bowl, we brought back the most beloved 80's beer advertising icon, Spuds Mackenzie. It's was 30 years since he was on the air, and now he's back to teach everyone the value of friendships, only now he's dead, and a ghost.
Bud Light opened a Spuds Mackenzie pop up shop in New York to hype up the spot. Ludacris even gave a nice shout out to Spuds before the game.
A good game of Madden starts with a good rivalry. And this year EA Sports was celebrating the 25th anniversary of the franchise. So naturally, we set out to tell the story of rivalry that was 25 years in the making.
In the first spot, Darian Foster and Marshawn Lynch Sr. spawn offspring and raise them to be incredible NFL athletes, so they can use them to beat each other, in Madden.
In Summercamp, 10 year old Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson go to summer camp and become life long rivals.
Smack talk is a true art form. It started with yo-mama jokes. Then diss tracks became a thing for a while. But now we’ve moved onto an entirely new level of smack talkery, burning someone for paying too much for car insurance.
I directed these with my partner Matt Spicer and brought some really strange smack talk to life.
Many thanks to The Martin Agency and our production company Stept Studios.
We’ve all been in situations where we have to split the bill between a lot of friends, it gets complicated quick. Someone ordered way more jalapeno poppers than everyone else, someone paid for the cab ride earlier and someone owed you from last time. How do you avoid dealing with math at a time like this? The answer is Steven. The app that keeps track of your expenses and splits the bill to get you all even.
I directed this spot for the launch of the app, with a ton of help from an incredibly talented crew of amazing creative people. Especially the talented Creative Director and Copywriter, Viktor Angwald and Tegan Mahford for producing this bad boy and laying her life on the line to find a scary old house to shoot in. Jackson Eagan who absolutely slayed it on the cinematography. And Dave Otte and Cosmo Street for the endless editing, Tim Masick at Company 3 for laying down the color. Much thanks all around.
After creating a commercial featuring division rivals Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson, we wanted to grab peoples attention around their week 2 NFL matchup. So we had them make a bet, whoever loses the week 2 game has to shave their eyebrow. All while playing a friendly game of Madden.
It created a ton of buzz leading up to the game and afterwards. I know everyone says that they created buzz, but seriously watch the video. Some guy made a sign and everything.
What does Saquon Barkley and Dunkin’s new Espresso drinks have in common? A whole lot more than you’d think.
Every year the NBA hosts games on Christmas Day. But this year they wanted to make everyone aware of the huge matchups they had. What better person to do that than the big man himself, Santa. We made him Commissioner of the NBA for Christmas Day. That way he could bring his unique expertise on all things NBA and Christmas to the games.
We shot spots that highlighted all the matchups and also toured Santa around all the ESPN shows to get more exposure for the games on Christmas.
We even got him court-side seats that he decided to leave early.

Charter Spectrum has the most HD channels and fastest internet available. And when you have all that power at your fingertips, you can find a solution to any situation.
Sunrun is a brand new company that leases solar panels to customers for no money down. Their customers are saving boat loads of cash on their energy bills. We found that saving money is a much more compelling reason to go solar than the stereotype of saving the environment. So we created a campaign that speaks to solar consumers on a new level, the money level.
We created a series of spots to promote ESPN's Fantasy Football App and I lived one of my dreams of making the circle beard come true.
Harry’s razors makes quality razors for your face, and they ship them to you straight from their factory. Meaning no markups, no middlemen to make your razors crazy expensive. These spots take a peek behind the curtain of the middleman, showing you where your money usually goes when you buy a razor at a store instead of online.
I wrote and directed this spot with Matt Spicer. And I built this set in my basement, I have a lot of wood paneling available if anyone needs some.
After staring at a can of Tecate Light for hours, we had the idea of bringing the black eagle to life. Embodying both the bold spirit of Tecate beer and the faithful following it has. He's majestic, powerful and confident. He was born to pursue only the boldest things in life…. like a Light Mexican Beer.
Everyone that plays video games knows 'that guy' that loves to rub it in when you lose. Madden is no exception to that. In fact, most people play Madden on the couch next to their rival. So it hurts that much more when they brag about beating you.
Each of these spots portrayed how it feels losing to these terrible people and how good it feels to throw it all back in their face when you pull out a win.

We created a site as tall as Mt. Killimanjaro (literally) to help raise awareness of the lack of clean water in Africa. Users could track climbers, monitor their vitals, tweet them in real time and most importantly donate water by sponsoring a foot of the climb.
Along with our TV spots, we also created some branded content and a Facebook app to help gamers take their shit talking to glorious new heights. Young Gun Finalist »
We created some product spots for Bud Light and I learned how much foam on a beer is too much foam.
The newest NCAA football game allows you to put past Heisman winners on your favorite team. We asked ourselves what happens when you put the wrong guy on the wrong team? Well, you probably would feel funny in your underpants area for a while. Until you were caught, then you just feel shame. Dirty, shameful shame.
Fun fact, when the Mike the Tiger's jersey gets ripped off, he was supposed to have eight cat nipples on his bare chest. I still have the cat nipple chest piece. Waiting for a good halloween to break it out.
Director: Martin Granger - Moxie
This is probably the weirdest thing I've ever made. I'm pretty proud of it.
Since hits are always a big part of hockey and the NHL game franchise, we created a Hits of the NHL infomercial. With the help of Barry Melrose and his hilarious haircut.
I also got a Barry Melrose watercolor out of it. Or as he would probably say, watercolour.
